A quick update...
Kids on vacation. So I have to take a break.
If you’ve been wondering where the last few Earth Signals newsletters went... here’s the reason.
My kids are on summer vacation, and for the past few days they’ve had my full attention.
I spend most of the year reading scientific papers, chasing strange stories, writing articles, rebuilding Strange Sounds, and trying to make sense of our wonderfully weird planet.
But summer only comes once a year.
And childhood goes by even faster.
So I decided to step away from the screen for a couple of days and spend some real time with them.
The news certainly didn’t stop. Earth kept doing what Earth does best—erupting, flooding, shaking, glowing and generally refusing to be boring. I’ve been keeping an eye on everything, and there’s already a growing pile of fascinating stories waiting for the next edition.
Thank you for your patience, and thank you to everyone who checked in or wondered where I’d disappeared to. It genuinely means a lot.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a fresh Earth Signals newsletter, and we’ll catch up on everything our restless planet has been doing while I was off making memories with my two favorite little humans.
See you tomorrow.
