WEAPONIZED ROBOTS. Not necessary to control them but you can defeat them. You can defeat them the same way you can easily defeat riot cops.
- Water balloons filled with black gloss paint add a little sand in there and some units may become unrepairable ( the same as riot cops weapons ). That should take care of their vision/cameras.
- Once their visual navigation is disabled a simple RF/GPS jammer should render the unit useless.
HINT: for any freedom fighters out there that like to stay non violent at protests
