He fell from the window at Moscow’s Central Clinical Hospital yesterday. He was chairman of the Russian oil giant LUKOIL. It is unclear what Mr Maganov was doing in the hospital prior to his fall. The hospital is the same one where the last Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev died earlier this week.
Putin was just at that hospital visiting Gorbachev’s coffin too. I wonder if some of his security visited Maganov’s room…
