Archaeologists found the remains of a Stone Age woman in a Belgian cave. She lived over 10,000 years ago during the Mesolithic period.

Chilean prosecutors say American influencer Ethan Guo, 19, broke “multiple national and international regulations” by changing his flight plans without prior notice, landing on a part of Antarctica where the South American country maintains a territorial claim.
Chile does these sort of things, in part, to maintain some sort of custodial claim over Antarctica. They've even shipped pregnant women over there in order for them to give birth on the continent in order to strengthen territorial claims. If no one challenges this, they have de facto sovereignty.

the Yunnan Institute of Endemic Disease Control and Prevention sampled the kidneys of 142 bats from 10 species collected from China's Yunnan province. Genetic sequencing revealed 22 viruses, 20 of which had never been seen before, as well as a new protozoan parasite and two kinds of bacteria, one of which was new to science.
And since they're mammals the leap between them and us isn't a very big one for a virus to make…
☄️ Newly-discovered interstellar object A11pl3Z is a Comet…
It has an atmosphere and a tail...
That means it's a comet. The new interstellar object is about 20 kilometers wide and currently travelling at a blistering 66 km/s. Moreover, it has just received an official name from the Minor Planet Center: 3I/ATLAS a.k.a. C/2025 N1 (ATLAS). You can view its orbit and download ephemerides here.
This is only the third known interstellar object to pass through the Solar System, following mystery object ‘Oumuamua’ in 2017 and Comet Borisov in 2019.
