Thou shalt not kill.

Yeah... she was a real Christian. .. a "Christian" who trained to fight against ICE agents.

According to witnesses, Renee Nicole Good was shot for attempting to run over an ICE officer in Minneapolis. She was the ringleader and head driver of the anti-ICE caravan, in a neighborhood she didn't live in. Her wife was OUTSIDE the car filming the whole thing for social media likes.

Witness: “She was the main car leading the protest... She was very successful in blocking traffic.”

Read her "Christian" poem she wrote about dissecting Fetal Pigs:

Maybe you should thoroughly research before you post your biased slant on US issues... there's much more about her and her child-abusive "wife."

Renee Good did not intervene to stop violence. She and her wife intervened to block a road and taunt the law officers. Not very Christian like activity. Perhaps they should have been praying. After all it is a sin to dress and act like men when you are a women. . That is what the Bible states also.

Renee Good was a paid protester. I don't know any true Christians that would purposely try to run over a law enforcement officer. Research before you print crap!

If a person who shows no signs of being a Christian, claims someone else is a Christian, what have you learned?

Ron's avatar

Exactly. There is a boat load of scripture that speaks of what she really is and where she will spend eternity. She was a paid terrorist - and what religion loves to run over people with their vehicles. She had a choice to just get out of her car as instructed,...and she made her choice. She sowed violence and got her 100 fold return.

“After seeing all the media bs about a domestic terrorist getting go fund me. I feel that the officer that was 1000 percent justified in the shooting deserves to have a go fund me. Funds will go to help pay for any legal services this officer needs. if officer cannot be reached at time of needed assistance funds will be donated to the ICE through DAP,” the description reads.

Exactly correct

That everybody is a Christian?

Conservative Contrarian's avatar

I recently read that Scott Adams of Dilbert fame is dying from cancer, and he made the claim he is going to become a Christian before he dies. He makes it sound like becoming a Christian is like checking into a hotel.

Sadly I suspect he will soon learn differently.

Don’t follow. Just be. Believe in you. Have faith in you. That’s the Holy Grail

Conservative Contrarian's avatar

I know myself too well to do that; I'm no longer self-deluded.

And that is the Crux of the message of the Bible. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12 KJV Those who have realized that they are HOPELESSLY lost on their own are those that allow God to build within them a FAITH relationship which SAVES (from day one!) and which has NEVER disappointed! Once knowing TRUTH no man has ever gone back because Truth is pure as gold refined in the fire 7 times.

I believe he is becoming a Catholic. And going by my 12 years of Cathlic school, no matter when you sign up, you're in if your conversion is sincere.

May he rest in peace when his time comes.

Jimd's avatar

Signing up is not required for salvation from your sins. Neither is attendance in ANY church. Nothing is necessary for one to do to be saved. And a sincere "conversion" happens only by the Holy Spirit and it happens in one's heart when they BELIEVE. The Catholic Church claims to use the Bible yet, if any Catholic ever read one, even the Catholic version, they would learn that it CONDEMNS the teaching of the Catholic Church. Only FAITH in the Blood of Jesus Christ is necessary and it is HE that applies it!

Sounds pretty man-made to me; time will tell.

"Why do people always forget the best part: "...Neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more" (John 8:11 KJV)." Thank you for that, Manuel. You must've known that I was going to add to it. (smiley face with smiling eyes) Jesus said this, that's correct, (after I corrected it to the KJV) but the part of that most people do not heed is the most important part... SIN NO MORE.

Now, what did He mean? He knows we are sinners and unable to live by the law and not sin, it's our NATURE. The ONLY thing that we could do to obey His command is to ask for His help. How do we do that? We must try to get to know Him.

Most people in this world do NOT know Him because they do not WANT to know Him. They want to stay in their little world they carved out for themselves and continue doing what they enjoy; that's the desire of most people and, for most people, that involves living outside of God's Will, in some type of sin.

A quick glance through the internet revealed that this "Christian" woman lived with another woman she falsely called her "wife" and was in a sexual relationship with her (sodomy) so, to "go and sin no more" would first involve getting out of that life of daily disobedience to God. The very same goes for any man and woman involved in a sexual relationship and/or living with each other outside the confines of marriage, bound by oath in a legal union in the Eyes of God.

How might one go about doing that? First they must acknowledge that Jesus is God their Creator and have no doubt whatsoever that He is Who He said He is (most "Christians" do not truly believe this, they are CINOs or Christian In Name Only.

The next will come naturally - to have a DESIRE to please God. Once you establish in your mind and heart that Jesus is God and the Bible IS His written word to us, you will want to please Him, but how can we sinners possibly please a PERFECT God? He cannot be in the presence of sin and we can't become perfect (not even close) by ourselves simply by obeying the law so that excludes every single one of us from drawing near Him. We've got a problem. A BIG one.

We all know we are sinners. Anyone who says they are not is lying to themselves and to the world. The Gospel of John is filled with quotes from God about what we can do about our sin problem. In John chapter 3, Nicodemus came to Jesus and in verse three Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." He continues in v. 5, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Each of us is "born of water", that is, by our mothers but few of us heed the advice of Jesus and are born of the Spirit. Our spirits, according to the Bible, are DEAD within us and remain that way until we are BORN AGAIN which Jesus explains in John 3:16, a Bible verse that has nearly become cliché, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

I am one who has been born again and I understand exactly (from my vantage point in this space/time dimension) what that means and I try so hard to get others to follow me in what I have done. I am not special neither am I sinless. (I do sin LESS). I didn't have to have any special talents or abilities. All I did was SEEK HIM.

How?, you may ask. I opened up a Bible and I began to read. It didn't make much sense to me at the time but I didn't give up. After a few weeks of reading and asking a born again friend (who gave me the Bible I was reading) many questions, I was reading in the book of Romans, chapter five, "Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1 (Good News Bible Translation c. 1978)

The light came on. My heart was blasted with a million Lumens Light and my soul came alive in me. It washed over my soul and the very first thing I felt was absolute, unhindered JOY and my proverbial cup "runneth over". At the same time, I felt great sorrow for my sins against Him and I wept into my pillow as I had never wept before.

I was only 16 years old and in my bedroom at my parents house where I grew up. I must have wept for an hour before I could actually dry my eyes enough to read the next verse. The thing that I want to emphasize is that I did NOTHING except seek to know Him by reading the Bible. When I came to that point of salvation, HE did everything, I did NOTHING. I didn't attempt to stop "this or that" sin; I didn't confess my sins and "ask Jesus into my heart"; I didn't say any repetitive catholic prayers, no. I only sought Him and He saved me. He will do the very same for you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 KJV

The ISS medical evacuation detail caught my eye. What makes this historically significant is that treating even minor medical issues becomes exponentially harder when the nearest hospital is literally falling through space at 17,500 mph. Back in the shuttle era we had more return flexibility, but now every Crew Dragon undocking requires weeks of mission replaning.

The "halo" over the Alps, for anyone paying attention, is PROOF POSITIVE of their spraying the skies with nanoparticles of metals. Every picture of a "sun dog" or the one above is only possible in an atmosphere that is saturated with light scattering metal particles. Does it look normal from wherever you're sitting right now? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SaTjGRdYAM

Now don't count Iran out just yet, starting last evening they have had massive pro government, nonviolent protests.

This sort of thing happened a few years ago, same results. Latest numbers I saw said 80% support the government and realize that their problems are externally caused by the many years of US sanctions.
