Jim Sautner, also known as the Buffalo Whisperer, was a Canadian rancher who raised a 2,000-pound bison named Bailey D. Buffalo like a family dog…
Bailey lived inside the house, rode shotgun in Jim’s convertible, and even drank beer with him at public bars…
The crazy Canuck adopted Bailey as a calf after Bailey was rejected by his mother, so Jim took him in and raised him by hand…
From the beginning, Jim treated Bailey less like livestock and more like a companion…
The picture of the wife hugging him and he's got his eyes closed, it's so freaking adorable…
Now imagine Jim showing up at the airport with Bailey D. as his emotional support pet…
Sadly, Jim Sautner passed away in 2022…
And Bailey died in an accident years earlier. That is sad. RIP…

An expensive pet to say the least. Like what do you feed an indoor pet of this size?
I hope that Bailey was house trained, I would hate to wake up in the middle of the night to a pile of dung in the hallway. Mind you, if the car ever broke down or if he was too drunk to drive, he could simply get on top and say, Bailey... let's go home...Lol Not sure where this was, I'd think maybe Saskatchewan or Manitoba. Manitoba has the buffalo on it's provincial flag. Anyhow, good story.

They have ruined the feel good stuff because there are so many human beings that need a modicum of the super human efforts they do to help a disabled donkey or monkey or whatever.
