A 75-degree Fahrenheit heat wave in Britain. Brits must not have any concept of heat whatsoever. Here in Alabama, 75 is a balmy Spring day, perfect weather. 87 right now. Low 90's this weekend.
My grandson and I shopped for fireworks on Monday to properly prepare to celebrate the 4th, and I'll be grilling lamb chops, chicken, and hot dogs - also some shrimp on the barbie. And my famous potato salad and baked beans. Haven't decided on dessert just yet. Key Lime Pie or Peach Cobbler? Or both? Decisions, decisions.
