And if I have ever any wrong for questioning my Lord God and Creator, it would be why He allows this to go on and on and on.
I'm so grateful that He has given me enough faith in Him to realize that all of my questions will be more than satisfactorily answered when this temporal realm is relinquished to the Higher, Eternal Realm and that I know my God well enough to understand that He is LOVE and in Him is no darkness at all. I trust that He has MORE than compensated for the pain and suffering of the innocent in ways that we can't begin to imagine.
I'm currently reading Foxes Book of Martyrs and there is one man (of many), James Baynham, who upon being burned at the stake, EMBRACED the flames in joy unspeakable explaining to His Catholic murderers that since they were always looking for miracles, here was one for them as he explained while he turned his body and HUGGED that post of flaming sticks, he was as comfortable as if he were at home in his bed, or in a bed of roses, and he sang Hymns as he expired, giving his soul over to Jesus Christ who I'm sure he must have been looking directly upon at that moment.
My point is that God is not wicked for allowing the torture and killing of the innocent for in many cases, He either removes them from the pain or completely from their bodies without feeling pain. This is my only consolation from this side of eternity as I see the horrors that continue every single day with the torture and murder of the innocent; that what we see isn't the reality that we imagine it is because our Righteous God takes these innocent souls to be with Him BEFORE they can feel the pain.
