WHO signs international pandemic response treaty…
Without the U.S.
After three years of intensive negotiations, the World Health Organization on Tuesday adopted the world’s first agreement on how to cooperate and respond to future pandemics — without the support of the United States.
The agreement was overwhelmingly passed in a vote of the World Health Assembly, an annual gathering of WHO member state delegations: 124 votes in favor, 11 abstentions and no objections. Leaders of member states hailed the accords, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who called it a shared commitment to ensuring “no one is left behind.”
The United States, long the WHO’s largest single donor, was notably absent from the vote, its delegation pulled after President Donald Trump withdrew the country from the organization on his Inauguration Day. Trump accused the WHO of “mishandling” the pandemic, and claimed it was subject to “inappropriate political influence” when he pulled back from continuing to fund the organization…

‘World-first’ gonorrhoea vaccine to be rolled out in England…
Jab hailed as ‘landmark moment for sexual health’ and comes amid record cases of infection…
Studies by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) suggest the 4CMenB vaccine has between 32.7% to 42% effectiveness against gonorrhoea, and while vaccination would slash the risk of becoming infected it would not eliminate it completely.
However, the JCVI said the vaccination would be beneficial, as previous gonorrhoea infection is thought to offer little protection against future infections.
The programme comes amid warnings that cases of gonorrhoea that are resistant to the antibiotic ceftriaxone – usually the first line of treatment – are on the rise in England.
What's inside Mexican jumping beans…
Mexican jumping beans contain the larva of a small moth, specifically Laspeyresia saltitans, which are feeding on the seed pod's pulp. The movement of the larva within the pod causes the bean to jump, which is often intensified by warmth.
Jupiter was formerly 2x its current size…
Well, I mean, space is cold…
By analysing the dynamics of Jupiter’s satellites concurrently with its angular-momentum budget, astronomers can infer Jupiter’s radius and interior state at the time of the protosolar nebula’s dissipation.
In particular, the calculations reveal that Jupiter was 2 to 2.5 times as large as it is today, 3.8 Myr after the formation of the first solids in the Solar System.

4 month's worth of rain in 24 hours…
Flash floods cut off inland Australian towns, residents flee to rooftops…
Heavy rain in Australia's southeast triggered flash flooding and cut off entire towns on Wednesday, stranding some residents on the roofs of their homes, as authorities issued snap evacuation orders with rivers staying above danger levels.
Rural towns in the Hunter and Mid North Coast regions of New South Wales, Australia's most populous state, were the worst hit from the downpour, with some areas receiving more than four months worth of rain over the past 24 hours.

Sixty miles southeast of Anchorage is Whittier, a remote Alaskan town where all 272 residents live in the same building…
Designed to be self-sufficient because of the region's extreme climate, the 14 story Begich Towers has a school, hospital, grocery store, and police department all under one roof…
During World War II, the U.S. Army established the town of Whittier, Alaska, to help aid in the war effort and act as a supply route for the Alaska Railroad. By the time of the Cold War, they had constructed a massive, high-rise building to be used as barracks. Now known as Begich Towers, the building was built not only to withstand bombings but also to be largely self-sufficient for the people who lived there. The military remained active in Whittier until 1960, when it boasted a population of 1,200 people. Amazingly, some residents chose to stay even after the last soldier departed. Though the population quickly decreased after the Army left, about 272 people still live there today — in the same building that once housed military families.

What is his name again?
A terrorist with a bounty on his head is now frolicking with Trump and Macron. He even wears a suit too. America and Europe are in no position to dictate any moral guidelines to Africa…
You're falling into their narrative trap by calling him "Ahmed Al Sharaa." His name is Muhammad Al-Jawlani. That's the name he came to prominence with. Oyibo media is running a psy-op to make you forget that he is an Al-Qaida terrorist whose name appears on a wanted poster!

As a person involved in health care administration as part of my job, I've been acutely aware of the corrupt and predatory practices of United Health Care, but really, I haven't found Aetna, Humana, or Cigna to be much better. They will all deny payment for covered health care services rendered to their members and subscribers at every available opportunity and for any possible reason, no matter how absurd.
I feel no empathy for that woman who had sex with all those men. None
I do feel empathy for the gal with the blood condition. I went to school with a gal who had stigmata, bleeding from hands & forehead.
Interesting about that camel organ, yikes. Camel should do a commercial for bubble gum.
Pandemics? You mean the ones they cause. Talk about terrorists in suits, they also wear lab coats.
