Was that the whole state of Kansas that disallowed alcohol sales on Easter? Even Alabama didn't do that, although there used to be no alcohol sales on any Sunday when I first moved here - always heavy traffic with people heading for Tennessee on Sunday to buy booze and TN merchants were happy to oblige as soon as you crossed the border. They still go there for lottery tickets, AL being one of only five states remaining without a lottery, because that would be gambling, and gambling is a sin, according to the state legislature. So much for liberty - LOL!
