Spain and Portugal suffer a massive power outage…
And parts of Andorra and southern France…
As shown in the graph below, the grid frequency in Germany dropped during the start of the power outage in the Iberian Peninsula…
That's the generators taking on the extra load and slowing slightly… It would be interesting to see similar graphs from other European countries…
The causes are unknown for now…
Some other say it was caused by a dramatic cascade of events that went out-of-control…
Others blame an atmospheric phenomenon called induced atmospheric variation… Is this actually why they are currently speaking about dimming the sun over Europe?
Rumor says it was caused by a cyber attack…
There was an abnormaly large crypto transfer of 3,520BTC, around 330m USD, which was exchanged for Monero (XMR) slightly before the outage. Maybe, this was a ransomware attack, and after paying the ransom, the attackers knocked the network out for shit and giggles…
Please don't be sabotage…
The director of Red Eléctrica said it could take between six and ten hours to restore electricity in all Spain. It is a gradual process…
Meanwhile, they have been telling people for months to get candles and supplies in case there is a power outage. Am I wrong for thinking this massive power outage is forced and planned?
Now, imagine being stuck in an elevator or on the subway. It’s kind of scary…
Future…
My take is that scenarios like this will become more common, due to either infrastructure neglect and insecurity and/or intentionally to create chaos among the populations…
Revolution may even be on the horizon after the masses figure out their governments aren't working for them…
Anyway, this is why preppers prep...
Remember the DC helicopter crash in January that killed 64 people, including 12 children?
Turns out the female pilot who was flying was given multiple warnings and was directly told by her male instructor/copilot to turn the opposite direction of the passenger jet to avoid a collision…
The simple fact is the Instructor Pilot should’ve taken control of the aircraft when the other pilot failed to comply with altitude or course corrections.
This accident was 100 % preventable. Same as Toronto…

US urges Mexico to stop screwworm parasite from crossing border…
Just for a little clarification, the US was part of a joint program to keep the parasite from getting to the US. It was pushed back as far as Panama.
The program was created in the 50's… Then Elon's DOGE program shut it down…

A solar eclipse in space…
Yesterday, the Moon eclipsed the sun. No one on Earth saw it. The "lunar transit" was only visible from space. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) recorded the whole thing from geosynchronous orbit:
At maximum, 23% of the sun was covered. That makes it a partial eclipse. Every year, SDO observes multiple lunar transits. An eclipse on July 25th will be much deeper: 62%…
Meanwhile, Big sunspot alert…
A big new sunspot is emerging over the sun's northeastern limb, right here:
The topology of its magnetic field is not yet visible, so we cannot assess its potential for solar flares.
However, big sunspots often produce big flares… So be ready…
