Today - March 18 - is the 100th anniversary of the worst tornado outbreak in US history...
The Super Duper Outbreak of March 18, 1925...
One hundred years ago, a catastrophic tornado ripped through three states, leveling whole towns and killing nearly 700 people. It remains the worst tornado in U.S. history. Called the Tri-State Tornado, it started the afternoon of March 18, 1925, near Ellington, Missouri.
That's right. The tornado outbreak that happened on March 18, 1925 was the worst tornado outbreak in recorded history.
It was even worse than the Super Outbreak of 1974 and the Super Outbreak of 2011…
Over 700 people died in the March 18, 1925 tornado outbreak. More than the Super Outbreaks of 1974 and of 2011 combined.
If the Outbreaks of April 3, 1974 and April 27, 2011 are Super Outbreaks, than the March 18, 1925 should be called the Super Duper Outbreak…
100 years ago, USA's worst tornado killed nearly 700 people…

Thank you and have a great Tuesday,
Manuel
Long past hurricanes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters used to result in much more destruction and more fatalities than modern times. Stronger construction materials, strict building codes in hurricane/tornado zones, and better weather forecasting and warning systems have reduced the severity of the damage and the numbers of deaths and injuries, thank God.
Oh, WOW!!! Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Manuel!! Had never heard of this one!!
Weird weather happening worldwide right now thanks go our Twin Solar System that is sliding through!! Check out the SAMUEL HOFMAN interviews on Radio Wasteland. His group has been following its progress for almost 15 years now. This happens around every 3,654 years & we Normies are not supposed to know about it!! ;-)
