🥰 Sandra Clark, the nurse. I have a special affection for people who spend time with the dying. I was a hospice volunteer for several years before my own husband died. My role was to simply visit, be with, read to, sometimes drive the client around - often for a last look at their neighborhood - have tea or whatever with them - watch daytime tv - ‘just living’ stuff. While I understand most people are afraid of dying alone, I’m the complete opposite. I don’t want any gaggle of geesy people watching, what to them, is a spectacle. I’ve seen a lot of that. Early on I was part of a few of those geesy groups because that’s just what one did in those situations at that time. Anyone that hasn’t had kindness nor time for me during my life, I do not want them around when I leave. Quiet, alone and peaceful sounds fine to me —Just a different point of view.

👉 "So it probably means that bacteria is swimming freely in the water you swin in…" I wouldn't swim in any ocean, lake, river, pond or anywhere else but my own swimming pool (if I had one).
