AGREED, Marc! About the end-game strategy, that is. But I don't agree with "prepping" and here's why: Please read carefully: No matter how much one prepares for a famine like the global one described in Revelation, it will do no good at all when the mobs come for it.
Imagine scores, perhaps HUNDREDS of hungry (very hungry) people running through your neighborhood with all sorts of stolen weapons coming for your "2 or even 5 year supply" of food, busting through the carefully fortified walls and windows out of your house and devouring your stockpile as you and your family sit and watch, that is, if you're still alive after offering the very little resistance you may be able to offer using your stockpile of guns and ammunition. Maybe you can stop a few but the mob keeps coming. You’d be helpless!
Moreover, your being armed to the teeth would instantly work AGAINST you as the crazed starving people STEAL your guns and ammo, all that you have and use it all AGAINST YOU. Note: I'm not condemning the stockpiling of weapons to protect your family perhaps from the SWAT teams coming to disarm you before the Rapture, I'm just describing what would happen if you were still here DURING the tribulation. There will still be law and order BEFORE the Rapture but complete chaos after it.
ADD to this scenario 25 percent of these mobs will be "off their meds" and out of their minds because of the total shut down of the economy and lack of ability to obtain their meds! These psychoactive drugs can't be cut off "cold turkey" and they were DESIGNED that way for these upcoming festivities. These crazed people would stop at NOTHING to kill you and get your food and anything else of any value! It would be a massive free-for-all consisting of the UNSAVED because all the saved people would have already disappeared in the pre trib Rapture leaving behind empty, lost souls totally deprived of the Holy Ghost!
The madness described above could be nothing less than the WRATH of God being poured out on the people who have REJECTED His only Provision for the removal of our sins - the Shed Blood of Jesus Christ. Only the unbelievers will be left because God has promised NOT to pour His wrath out on His children, that is, we who are SAVED...Born again in our spirit and in whom the Holy Spirit of God LIVES.
He is not going to allow His BRIDE to suffer His WRATH and He tells us this in Revelation 3:10; Isaiah 26:20-21; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51. People who believe that we, as saved, born again Christians, will have to "show our endurance and willingness to stand persecution" like the many martyrs, fail to realize the DIFFERENCE between worldly persecution by men and the Biblical WRATH of Almighty God! In my 30 years of waiting for His Return for us (I've been looking up and expecting Him since 1994) and our catching away to be with Him, I have never seen so much hatred toward the Biblical Truth of the Pre trib Rapture and at this time even most professing Christians are despising those who report it and warn of it as I am and have been doing! The truth of the pre trib Rapture wasn’t despised then as it is now. But the Bible warns of this also, that during the time of the end there would be scoffers. There have always been scoffers but in this day, more than half of those professing Christians are persecuting and scoffing at us, we who believe the Biblical fact of the pre trib Rapture!
Prior to the recent few years, I had not seen any evidence of the ages (Grace and Tribulation ages) overlapping as we have now been recently witnessing. That means, the time of tribulation described in the Scriptures are beginning to occur in our age, with the start of the tribulation events now occurring before our eyes! Example: The GLOBAL famine being set up; a new world order on the horizon with "agenda 2030"; the economic collapse and one world currency happening before our eyes, the global mark of the beast trial - the clot shot, it's all beginning to show a future picture while we are still in this age, the very last days of the age of Grace!
It is STILL FREE to be saved from the wrath to come and for one to FREELY have their souls saved. In the tribulation, uncountable people will be saved but it will COST them. They will "wash their [own] robes" that is, in the tribulation, those who desire to be saved will have to WORK to have their sins removed, that is, NOT take the mark of the beast and "ENDURE" to the end which for millions will be the loss of their heads by guillotine. Do we as saved, born again Christians have to "endure to the end"? The answer is NO, of course. Our Salvation is absolutely FREE. That’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ given to us by the apostle Paul! (Romans 16:25) In the tribulation, salvation will no longer be free and people will have to wash their OWN robes to be saved! (Revelation 7:14 and 22:14) But those saved in this age, before the tribulation, we have had our robes washed FOR US by the Shed Blood of Christ! And it's absolutely FREE (Hebrews 1:7). If there were not a pre trib Rapture, this distinction would be false! Right now Jesus cleanses our robes FOR US with His Shed Blood! It's absolutely FREE for the asking (and simply believing). This one, (neglected by many) Biblical fact is alone enough to destroy any claims that born again Christians like you and I would have to endure the time of tribulation which is the WRATH of God.
During GOD'S WRATH, the church (believers) are g-o-n-e! AGREED!

Have you also noticed the uptick in Christians scoffing at the Biblical pre trib Rapture? I have not seen this level of contempt for ANY Biblical doctrine at any time in my 40 years of Bible study. I believe we are seeing the "falling away" spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 in the KJV always; (all other versions say "rebellion"? in place of "falling away" so which one is right?) If you study this out you'll find that the KJV has been watered down and the new versions are the result. This topic is a hot one these days also and just shouldn't be.
Also, the KJV was translated from the Masoretic (OT) and Textus Receptus (NT) and all others came from the Alexandrian, Gnostic texts. This is also something I am taking notice of which is on the increase, the differences and outright REVERSALS of meanings in the "new" versions. It seems that the KJV is alone in many of these instances and all other versions agree with one another and the KJV is excluded in many cases.
While everything in this world is fraught with deception and lies in this age, don't we have to admit or, at the very least CONSIDER that the ONE message that God has PRESERVED for us would come under attack in this age? Well it has and it is the infiltration of the new versions in the Bible colleges which has made this falling away possible.
Gone are the fire and brimstone preachers of the 50s and 60s because of the Bible schools and seminaries. All part of their wicked PLAN for this world. First came Darwinism but it wasn't enough. And isn't it in line with truth if we who love the truth identify WHICH version is the ONE which God had promised to PRESERVE (Psalms 12:6-7) and to then USE IT thus condemning the new versions? That would seem to be what should be done but, within the visible "Christian" churches today, we see the opposite. Many of them swear by the new versions even to the exclusion of the KJV! Not only is this all talk and no action, it's much too little, much too late, just like all state bills that "appear" to be toward logical and moral laws. All talk no action. If we start from square one, without referring to any knowledge gained from any other source than the Bible and the studies made of it, (including the copies found in the Dead Sea Scrolls which give us the date of the writings) now knowing its prophecies came true so accurately, we must now learn WHO it was that inspired those men to write. We could learn that from the trustworthy words and testimony of the prophets themselves who proclaim that it was GOD. But not just any god but the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of All CREATION Who spoke into the darkness and commanded there to be LIGHT in it.
If you need some kind of outline to see how effectively it can be learned that the prophets truly WERE hearing from a Supernatural Source, i.e. the Source of EVERYTHING, you can cheat a little bit and save yourself some study time. Simply search for the works of Dr. Peter Stoner who lays it all out for you in his book "Science Speaks". There is much information to see online about Dr. Stoner but I will provide a link for you of one that I consider that summarizes the calculations he made.
I was once like you, doubting everything about God, until I began to grow intellectually to the point that I KNEW that the truth MUST exist somewhere. I began to search for it and every in- depth search led me right back to the Bible. Again, not because I had any leanings toward it at the time, I was simply searching for TRUTH and the PROOF for where I might find it.
