I have yet to be impressed by "AI". What the robot had done, I could have done with a script decades ago. The AI chats that I have had showed no intelligence. Give it something unexpected, something it wasn't "programmed" for and it is lost. All the AI chats showed the thought process of the programmers behind it.
I believe it's much more nefarious than that. Technology has been historically hidden from the masses and what we the people believe about it, in reality, is decades BEHIND what actually exists. They want us to believe that AI is still so primitive that they (OpenAI) intentionally allow a shining example of it (which they refer to as "Figure 1") to make mistakes AND THEY DON'T CORRECT THEM - they IGNORE them. Figure 1 also failed to identify the PLACEMAT under the plate with the apple on it.
The error was made when AI said that the dish rack contained "cups and A plate" when in reality it was plates and A cup. Why would they then allow this video with a dumbed down, error producing version of George Jetson's "Rosie the robot" as a demonstration of how "advanced" technology has come since the Jetsons?
One more anomaly I noticed was the AI robot used the filler word, "ah" clearly demonstrating either that it was a real person reading a script (filler words aren't necessary in computers; they are a pause in thought; a break in our speech synapse) or that they programmed it to use "filler words" as most of us do use in normal conversation. The reality of AI is being obfuscated by this OpenAI short video production, for whatever reason, well, that could be anyone's guess.
One final note: It was fitting that there was an apple in this clip. It is also fitting that the man took ONE bite out of it at the close of the video perhaps making a casual reference to the forbidden fruit? Think of the Apple company logo - an apple with a bite taken out of it. I could go on as there is much hidden information in this seemingly innocuous clip but I'll save that for someone else to uncover. Everyone should keep their eyes and ears open and scrutinize everything they say. It may be that those who do will not be deceived. This advice seems already too late as most of this world is deceived to a level that, upon learning the extent of which, they would utterly ridicule the idea.
