There's speculation that Jesus wasn't born in December but in the Springtime. That doesn't matter but some Christians won't celebrate because of that, I'm not one of them. I celebrate with my family as I always have that He came to us, whether today or some other, but EVERY day I thank Him for coming as One of us.
What matters is that we realize the true reason He came to this physical dimension, leaving His Glorious Place in His Throne, on the Right Hand of God the Father to willingly take on the physical nature of a man. Most of the world celebrates a pagan holiday today having completely lost the meaning of Christmas and perpetuating the lie of Santa Claus to the next generation.
The entire purpose of His coming was to give His Life for us; to DIE in our place, shedding His Eternal, Precious Blood (the LIFE is in the Blood; Leviticus 17:11). This He did for every person He has ever created so that anyone could take on the Propitiation for all sins by God's Sacrifice at the Cross simply by believing.
Believing what? Trusting in the FACT that He is God in the flesh of a man and He died for us then rose from the dead, then back up into His Dimension, taking His Rightful Place in the Throne of God. Please read Isaiah chapter 9 today.
In short, He created us TO LOVE ON US! He proved His love for us by giving His very LIFE in the flesh. He made us to be the recipients of His Eternal Love!!! Now, THAT'S Good News!!!
