most, if not all banks, would be unprepared for a ‘bank run’ as they don’t keep nearly enough physical cash on hand at the local branch. a few years ago, out of curiosity, asked Chase Bank about ‘what if’ to withdraw (think it was $10,000.) and was told that there would be a wait (it was at least a few days) for them to fulfill the request. so in reality what are you going to do? if they anticipate, they will probably just close bank or ration withdrawals.
also looked at Cypress bail -in theft tax on deposits as a template.
