Bald eagle nest explodes in fireball after being hit by lightning strike in Colorado…
A female bald eagle was perched in a tree near the Stearns Lake nest where she and her mate had successfully raised eaglets for years. She kept a wary eye on a red-tailed hawk that just arrived on a branch even closer to the nest.
That’s when the nest exploded in a fireball as a lightning strike, captured by a wildlife camera pointing from 500 yards away, disintegrated the eagle nest.
The strike left both the eagle and the hawk dangling upside down in an electrocuted stupor. The eagle managed to survive and fly away.
Parenting eagle pairs stick together for years, and often build new nests this time of year close to their most recent abode. The recovering eagle and her partner have been spotted by volunteers and Boulder County officials looking for nest sites and scouting for prairie dog snacks from light posts at Monarch High School and the old StorageTek complex.
Two teachers fired, not arrested, for drugging small children during class…
This isn't an isolated incident. This keeps happening over and over across the US. The story is just the latest, happening a few days ago…
The first case I found was 11 years ago, when a teacher was caught by another adult dropping sominex in kids' cups. She was fired and jailed after admitting what she did…
The rest of the cases are from the last couple of years, most of which had been happening during the entire school year before parents got wise (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,and apparently this is happening abroad as well…).
Teachers are applying "sleepy stickers" to the kids' arms so they'll stay docile during the day. Parents couldn't understand why their children weren't eating or sleeping at night until a sticker was left on a child who returned home.
All but one of these cases were handled with no jail time. Schools either covered it up until they couldn't, or put the teachers on administrative leave (meaning they continued getting a paycheck) until the dust settled.
Kudos to the parent who blew the whistle to other parents when the school chose to protect the teacher over informing anyone of what was done to their kids.
But WTF is going on?

What a strange and tragic story…
The woman was upset with her daughters behavior, including running off to elope with another youth. The mother sent her to a maternal home where she met the 38 year old man and developed a relationship with him. The mother contacts the 38 year old man to kill her daughter not realizing he was in a relationship with her. (The man was not the person she originally eloped with)
The 38 year old man tells the 17 year old daughter about her mother's actions and the girl promised to marry him if he killed her mother instead. He kills the mother and the two are arrested and confessed to the crime.

The increasing prevalence of auroras at lower latitudes is not only due to solar maximum. The weakening geomagnetic field strength and rapidly accelerating shifting of the magnetic poles towards the equator indicate that our planet is experiencing a geomagnetic excursion or possibly even a full reversal.
