Um, this is the first ever I’ve heard where American Indians saw the earth as flat. The mounds at Cahokia show a snake/World destroyer trying to swallow the world. This was common belief here.

We don't have holy books either. The Flat Earth Society is a non-religious organisation. Independently of that, most of our members happen to be atheist or agnostic.

As far as farming goes, it isn't difficult. Some people are more inclined toward gardening and botany. Some just don't have the feeling for it. I have always grown plants, trees, fruits, and vegetables. There are plenty of learning tools. Books and internet have plenty of good materials. Another thing that is weird, when working outdoors doing gardening, you won't get tired as easily as doing house chores. Not sure why, but I have noticed that about gardening.
Regarding the ancients depictions of the earth; Is this to intimate that the earth may be "flat"? There are people that insist that the earth is flat and the evidence many of them use to defend this nonsense they say, is in the Bible. But the Bible NOWHERE states that the earth is flat but the opposite. It is said to be a sphere. Common sense will confirm this fact as it should have done to the ancients.
The moon, sun and planets are spherical and the proof of it can be seen clearly. The shadows on the moon's craters give away its spherical nature. That should be enough evidence without using any kind of technology, only the eyes. The very nature of this universe is spherical, that is, the physical forces of nature are all relative to a sphere. The very gravitational force is dependent on spherical equations. Thousands of satellites orbiting the earth depend on the earth being spherical. Even the smallest of particles, the atom is a sphere. Finally, the curvature of the earth can be plotted by triangulation. Pick three spots on the earth, the farther away the better, add up their angles; if they add up to more than 180 degrees it is a sphere. I believe that the propagation of a flat earth is a direct attack on the Bible, the written word of God. If those who doubt God see that those who "know" their Bibles claim that the earth is flat because the Bible says so, that is just the icing on the cake to steer them away from ever considering the Bible and the proof they need to claim that it was written by uneducated goat herders who proclaimed that the earth was flat.
